Geocaching

"You are the search engine"-- that is what our license plate reads. One of the things that our family likes to do together is geocaching. If you are not familiar with the sport/game/activity, you can check it out at geocaching.com. It is basically a worldwide game that involves finding "caches" using a GPS. It doesn't cost anything to do it and you are not gonna run out of geocaches to find. There are currently 399,624 active caches worldwide in almost every country. We have had so much fun doing this as a family. It is a great way to spend time with the kids and it is something to do on vacations and such. So far, we have found 222 caches in Alaska, California, Alabama, Hawaii, Arizona, Oregon and even one in Afghanistan (while I was deployed there). Check our profile out at geocaching. We are "jaidan" on the site, and you can view pictures and postings on all of our caches found.
